Moisture problems in large arenas require a comprehensive approach — both technically and practically. At Sparbanken Lidköping Arena, Polygon, through moisture specialist Daniel Kläth, has already carried out an extensive moisture investigation. This work is now being complemented by our expertise in ice arena environments, as a subconsultant to Polygon.
Together, we have reviewed various parts of the arena — from crawl spaces and the main arena area (this time without ice, as a handball match was in progress) to the technical rooms where much of the climate control takes place. Through our expertise, we can deepen the analysis and develop proposals that are both energy-efficient and sustainable in the long term.
The collaboration with Polygon, the municipality’s property managers, and the arena’s operations staff has been both efficient and insightful. We look forward to contributing to an even better indoor environment in this important venue for both sports and culture.
