Match-ready ice for the season opener in Karlskoga

On 26 September 2025, the hockey season got underway at Nobelhallen in Karlskoga. BIK Karlskoga hosted Mora IK in the season opener – and the ice delivered on every level.
Behind the stable ice is a robust refrigeration system, delivered by Kylmekano. EKA has been involved as technical support throughout the project, from planning to commissioning, to ensure performance, capacity, and long-term sustainability.

Nobelhallen is an arena with high demands, where the refrigeration system must operate reliably over time, regardless of load. The season is now underway – and with the ice in place, the conditions are set for many fast-paced matches ahead.
