Träffpunkt Idrott 2025

EKA recently attended Träffpunkt Idrott 2025, which took place on 11–13 March at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Gothenburg. This year’s conference focused on “Future Urban Planning and Collaboration” and covered five main themes:

• Sustainable facilities and spaces

• People in motion

• Innovation, technology, and digitalisation

• Building swimming facilities for the future

• Active cities and communities – design that promotes physical activity

During the event, we at EKA had the opportunity to meet suppliers from the sports industry, as well as both existing and potential clients. We had valuable discussions about ice arenas, water treatment, and water recovery. This year’s focus on field heating for artificial turf fields was particularly interesting.
